On October 2014, Sears Auto Repair supposedly replaced everything on my breaking system including the rotors. Yesterday, after I had my brakes repaired (after only 17,000 miles on the brakes installed by Sears) I had to have the entire nrake system replaced and found out thatMY ROTORS WERE ORIGINAL TO THE CAR!!

that's right, Sears Auto chsrgef me for replacing my rotors 4 years ago, but apparently only replacd the disc pads. Do Not trust Sears Auto - they do not do the work they charge you for.

Verify that you paid for new rotors 4 years ago by looking on the invoice Sears would have given you showing what was done and at what cost. On most cars you can "turn" the rotors at least once before you have to install new ones.

The reason some places just automatically put on new ones is because they have to send the rotors off to be turned and that takes a few hours depending on whom they use and they don't want your vehicle just sitting there taking up a space other cars can be worked on.

Bottom line, tho is that even if you were charged for something you didn't get the cost to pursue it and the difficulty in proving your case would be difficult. Best bet is to never use Sears again and tell everyone how you were scammed---but make sure your invoice shows new rotors were installed and charged.
